I agree with the "Texas law" student...although he could offer to take people to Amsterdam which is an amazing place in its own right. PS - How did you even find this info on MC Hammer... Did you just randomly search for him...

This week's journal is great as a whole, but I thought those two articles were particularly interesting. I liked what Pope Benedict XVI said and I really liked Cardinal Roger Mahoney's comment about not turning away the needy even if they are illegal immigrants. It enrages me that the government would require a church to ask for legal documentation before helping the poor. I should realize that the government is crazy...but after all, as a girl said in my class last Friday, "America is a 'Christian' Nation." I suppose that this means that as Americans we follow the teachings of Jesus? Too bad it doesn’t seem like that is the case.
